Domain Registration Length - Makes a Difference

Insider update. According to our hosting source, the length in which you register and pay for your domain makes a difference to Google. A method that Google uses to rank your site is based on how many years the domain name is paid for. A longer registration shows more stability in your business. It is recommended that you pay for your domain name up to 5 to 10 years in advance. Because domain names are not very expensive pre-paying for them cannot hurt you. In fact pre-paying for your domain actually locks in the price of the domain registration so if there is an increase in the cost of domain registration you will not be affected. So, when you register your domain, register it for 5-10 years. It shows stability, locks in the price and can increase your rankings with Google.
