Hackers, Credit Card numbers, and your safety....

So, the question begs, "how do I protect myself?"
- Change passwords often. Complex passwords are the very best. These would include numbers and letters with a combination of special characters such as $, %, or &
- Keep private information private. Don't put Social Security numbers, birth dates and other vital information on written documents, and NEVER send such information over an e-mail.
- Lastly, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Buying some identity theft protection on your most important credit cards could save you money in the end. As always, buyer beware. Do your research first.
Identity theft is becoming big business. From the Russian mafia to your next door neighbor protect yourself. How many times have you click through a website warning or just entered your Social Security number without thinking? 1, 2, 3...stop, think. Is this a good idea?
