• Customer Service.....cheap hosting companies will not offer an email, or a phone number to call for help. Look esp. for a phone number...that ensures real people are working for you, not some guy from his basement
• Customer referrals....do your friends, business partners, and others know about the company? Check to see who already trusts the provider...that is a good indication they are a reputable company.
